1) Owner Randy Savage, and officer manager Taylor Sawyers, take an active part in the day
to day operation at each location. There are no board of directors or committees making decisions and policies without interaction,
or without having a true understanding of the needs of students and parents. All American is committed to a professionally
run program; schools that are determined to offer the best instruction and training for your beginning driver.
2) Our
facilities are, without question, superior to our competitors. Our Garland locations have free-standing buildings, separate
from crowded shopping centers and malls. Rockwall will have its own free-standing building by October of 2008.
Classrooms are large, comfortable, and well decorated. We have a nice, roomy reception area with a front desk from which to
serve you. You do not walk into a classroom when you enter our facility, as is common with other driving schools. It will
be well worth your while to travel a little further to one of our facilities, if necessary. The learning environment is definitely
a step above the competition. We welcome you to visit our facilities and see first hand what we have to offer. Mr. Savage
will meet with you personally, if you would like, and answer any questions you may have.
3) We offer the best variety
of automobiles in the Metroplex. We have optimum insurance coverage to protect our students and instructors. Our vehicles
are consistently serviced and maintained, and we update our fleet with late model vehicles routinely.
4) We offer a
free shuttle service that picks up daily at all Garland I.S.D. high schools, Berkner High School in Richardson, the two
high schools in Rockwall, Royse City, and the two high schools in Wylie. We service students with very
nice 15-passenger vans. Most of our competitors do not even attempt a shuttle service, and none service the amount of
schools that we do. In all, 13 schools are serviced daily for the needs of our students and the convenience
of our parents at no extra charge.
5) Our instructors are all state certified with backgrounds checked thoroughly. They
are recertified yearly with six hours of continuing education. We have over forty employees within our school. Most are teachers
in local school districts. Each school has hundreds of years of driver education experience with which to utilize in teaching
your child. Our goal as instructors is to teach our students not only to "drive," but to "survive."
6) Our years of operation and the reputation we have built in the community is something we are very proud of. We have been
in business for over 18 years. We have taught upwards of 35,000 students in our classrooms and vehicles over those years with
a remarkably safe record!
7) We have a policy that very few schools are willing to implement, and that is "matching
competitor prices." We do not want any student to miss out on, what we believe is, the best instruction in the Metroplex.
Therefore, the dollar amount is not an issue with us. We strive to stay under the price of our competition, but if a discount
or special makes for a lower price, we will match it!
8) Our students and parents are our main concern and focus. We
want our students' driving experience to be both pleasurable and worthwhile. Our intention is to serve you in the best
way we can, making your dealings with us as convenient as possible. For your convenience, we offer a variety of classes, payment
plans, free shuttle service, permit testing, and an accelerated program.
9) We administer the most thorough, comprehensive
in-car test of any driving school. There are 200 possible points on our test, covering under the hood knowledge, pre-driving
procedures, identification of gauges and instruments, backing, parking, observing signs and other drivers, lane changes and
lane usage, turns, turnabouts, signaling, mirror usage, railroad crossings, T-intersections, cornering, following distance,
space cushion, right of ways, starts and stops, freeway driving, residential driving, and service road driving.
