Instructor Training
Our North Garland location will be hosting training for certifying new driving instructors, usually each year in the spring and fall. We developed our own curriculum and it has been approved by the Texas Education Agency. We have on our staff two certified supervising teachers who are qualified to train future teachers. Ms. Candace Watanabe will head up the training and be assisted by Mr. Dearl Holt. All American has high standards and we will only allow teachers of the highest quality to train prospective teachers. Our company is extremely fortunate to have these two quality teachers as part of our company.
We will be offering training for both in-car and classroom certification. There will be three phases to the program. The first two will fulfill the requirements for in-car certification. The last phase will be for those individuals seeking to teach in the classroom as well.
Our next training begins Friday, March 9, 2012 and our schedule is as follows:
Phase I Phase II
Friday, March 9 - 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday, March 23 - 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 10 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24 - 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 11 - 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Phase III - To Be Determined (Will be based on the input of those who register for Phase III)
Phase one and two will total $600. If you choose to complete phase three, your total training cost will be $850. A $150 down payment will reserve your placement in the class, and it is non-refundable.
A minimum of $300 total is required to be paid by the first day of class. Our fees are 20% to 70% less than what others are charging for this training. Our fees also stay consistent, whether you have completed a phase at another training facility prior to enrollment with us or not.
IMPORTANT:
All individuals wishing to be trained at our facility will be required to sign a Non-Compete form. Our main purpose in developing a curriculum is to properly train future teachers for All American. Our hope is that all who enroll in the training are planning to join our company. If that is not your intention, make certain that you do not have plans to own or work for a driving school or similar company located within the counties of DALLAS, ROCKWALL, COLLIN, DENTON, HUNT OR KAUFMAN. The Non-Compete form must be signed at registration and before a payment is made - it accompanies the contract. Please do not call to contest this requirement. We developed a curriculum and are conducting training in order to promote the growth of our company, not to create competitors.
